Future opponents banded as teammates Tuesday night on ECW on Syfy. While they’ll clash at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, ECW Champion Christian & Shelton Benjamin earned a victory over the argumentative Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov.

ECW Champion Christian & Shelton Benjamin def. Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov
ECW Champion Christian teamed with No. 1 contender Shelton Benjamin to take on Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov in tag action this week. The WWE TLC opponents put their differences aside for a night to get the colossal victory. Plus, The Gold Standard said he’d undoubtedly have Christian’s back against their Ruthless Roundtable opponents on ECW, because Benjamin wants Christian at 100 percent in two weeks at WWE TLC when they steal the show with their Ladder Match. Will Benjamin live up to his promise to win the ECW Championship by defeating Christian at WWE TLC? Or will Captain Charisma retain the ECW Title once again?

Meanwhile, the rift between Jackson and Kozlov grew bigger, as Jackson walked out on his partner during their match, allowing Benjamin to capitalize and hit Paydirt on Kozlov for the victory. Earlier, William Regal apologized to Jackson after seeing footage of last week’s ECW when Kozlov’s interference backfired, leading to Yoshi Tatsu’s win over The British Brawler, a loss Kozlov tried to blame on Jackson. Big Zeke also apologized to Regal for letting his temper getting the best of him, but he refused to apologize to Kozlov. Then, The Moscow Mauler interrupted, asking if Jackson would say he’s sorry, sparking another argument. Regal tried to be the voice of reason, insisting that The Ruthless Roundtable stay united to do achieve total domination of ECW. Unfortunately for the once unstoppable group, Jackson and Kozlov’s differences got in the way again, prompting their main event loss. Will these two be able to rekindle their friendship and partnership for the betterment of The Ruthless Roundtable?

Goldust def. William Regal (with Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov)
Goldust defeated William Regal when Jackson and Kozlov’s arguing at ringside was too much of a distraction for The British Brawler. The schoolboy rollup victory gave The Bizarre One retribution for last week’s “WWE Superstars” when Kozlov defeated Goldust and Regal capped off the victory with a Knee Trembler. What’s next for the new rivalry between Goldust and Regal’s Ruthless Roundtable? How will Jackson and Kozlov’s recent clash affect this once dominant trio?

Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft def. local competitors
ECW’s newest duo, Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft, made their Extreme premiere Tuesday night with an easy win over two local competitors, as Barreta got the pin. Arriving in the Land of the Extreme via ECW’s New Superstar Initiative, Barreta & Croft look poised to make an impact after a strong debut appearance this week. Plus, they’ve promised ECW General Manager Tiffany that they’re the tag team that’ll change the world! Who will step in the ring and face these two newcomers next?

“The Abraham Washington Show” with Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes
ECW’s “it” couple, Zack Ryder and Rosa Mendes, were the special guests on this week’s edition of “The Abraham Washington Show.” The Long Island, N.Y., Superstar, and his lovely Diva entertained the critically-acclaimed talk show crowd when they read poems they wrote for each other. Ryder was so overcome by emotion, he began jumping on the couch, ala Tom Cruise on The Oprah Winfrey Show!

Ryder will meet The Hurricane on this week’s “WWE Superstars” Thursday night at 8/7 CT on WGN America. How will the lovestruck Ryder fare in the ring against ECW’s masked Superstar, who just came off the biggest win of his career after defeating Paul Burchill in a Mask vs. Career Match?

The Burchills’ plea
ECW General Manager Tiffany was visited by Paul and Katie Lea Burchill this week on ECW. The brother and sister were recently ousted from ECW on Syfy when Paul lost a critical Mask vs. Career Match to The Hurricane. The Burchills pleaded with Tiffany to allow them back on ECW, but the Diva refused to let them return to the Land of the Extreme. Will the Burchills ever see the Land of the Extreme again?

Savannah talks to Vance Archer
One of Tuesday night’s newest Superstars, Vance Archer, told backstage interviewer, Savannah, that although he’s destined to reach the top of ECW, he wants to savor each and every moment as he paints his “masterpiece of agony.” With another win last week, the intense Archer remains undefeated with a 4-0 record. Who will he set out to conquer next?

After the shocking events of Survivor Series and this Monday’s Raw, the Land of the Extreme underwent some game changing moments of its own. In a night of unforgettable action, a new No. 1 Contender for the ECW Championship was crowned, a pay-per-view bout was announced and William Regal’s once indestructible Ruthless Roundtable began to show cracks in the armor.

Yoshi Tatsu def. William Regal
Viewing Yoshi Tatsu as his ticket back to the ECW Championship, William Regal was intently focused on winning tonight’s match. The British Brawler was so driven, he implored his cronies, Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov, to do whatever they could to insure his victory. Yet, a miscue from Kozlov allowed Tatsu to kick Regal in the head and win the match.

After his devastating loss, Regal chewed out his two monsters, blaming them for this setback. The Moscow Mauler then falsely accused Jackson of costing their kingpin the bout. This did not sit well with Big Zeke who proceeded to destroy Kozlov and Regal, sending a message that he was not happy with The Ruthless Roundtable.

“The Abraham Washington Show” with Matt Hardy
The self-proclaimed “most entertaining man in sports entertainment” Abraham Washington welcomed Matt Hardy to his show for some conversation on ECW on Syfy. While the not-so-charming host took every opportunity to offend his guest, Washington did reveal that Matt Hardy will be appearing on an episode of the popular show Scare Tactics next Tuesday on Syfy. After airing a clip from the program, the smug Washington claimed he wasn’t afraid of anything — then he was scared half to death by his jolly sidekick, Tony Atlas.

Vance Archer def. a local competitor
The imposing Vance Archer continued his impressive win streak on ECW on Syfy with another dominating victory over a local competitor. Using his brute strength to toss his much smaller opponent around, the 6-foot-8 Archer seemed to enjoy punishing his adversary before he put him away. Like him or not, this big man from Dallas, TX is making a serious impact in the Land of the Extreme.

ECW Champion Christian’s challenge
Moments after Shelton Benjamin became the new No. 1 Contender, ECW Champion Christian made his way to the ring and got right down to business. Stating that he was tired of the ECW Championship being overlooked on recent pay-per-views, Christian challenged Benjamin to a bout that would surely steal the show at WWE TLC — a Ladder Match. Agreeing that they were two of the greatest competitors in this dangerous contest, Benjamin accepted Christian’s challenge and vowed to take his title when they meet in three weeks.

Shelton Benjamin def. Zack Ryder
Shelton Benjamin had a lot riding on this match with Zack Ryder. Not only was The Gold Standard looking for retribution after his loss to Ryder on last Thursday’s “WWE Superstars,” but ECW General Manager Tiffany had made it clear that Benjamin would become the No. 1 Contender for the ECW Championship if he won this bout. Rising to the occasion, Benjamin pulled out all the stops, using his preternatural athletic abilities to take down his rival. Despite the involvement of Ryder’s lady friend, Rosa Mendes, Shelton was able to hit Pay Dirt on the Long Island loudmouth, winning both the match and the No. 1 Contender spot.

While William Regal and his minions stood supreme in the center of the ring last Tuesday, The British Brawler found out the hard way what happens when partners betray one another in team competition on tonight’s ECW on Syfy.

ECW Champion Christian & Yoshi Tatsu def. William Regal & Zack Ryder
Earlier in the evening, William Regal and Zack Ryder had a heated confrontation backstage, leading the WWE Universe to wonder if these two Superstars would be on the same page going into tonight’s main event.

Despite The British Brawler demand that Ryder follow his instructions during their tag team match against ECW Champion Christian & Yoshi Tatsu, his cocky partner was not about to yield to the former ECW interim General Manager. After the two began to quarrel in the corner, Ryder refused the tag from Regal and attacked his partner, allowing Captain Charisma to dial up the Killswitch and pin the self-centered Blackpool, England-native for the victory.

Paul Burchill def. The Hurricane
It’s becoming evident why Katie Lea has described her brother as the “most brutal, vicious” man in WWE. Paul Burchill wasn’t about to let The Hurricane gain any momentum in their enduring rivalry as The Ripper merited some retribution against his opponent with an impressive win on ECW on Syfy.

Sheamus isn’t finished with Shelton Benjamin
After being disqualified for not following the official’s warnings while punishing Shelton Benjamin’s injured left shoulder on last Thursday’s “WWE Superstars,” Sheamus told the WWE Universe he will stop at nothing to annihilate The Gold Standard. The Celtic Warrior claims he is not at all intimidated by Benjamin’s awesome athletic talent and believes his supremacy in this rivalry will help him ascend to ECW superstardom.

Ezekiel Jackson def. Goldust
When not assisting William Regal in his quest to become ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson has been wreaking havoc on the rest of the competition. “The Guyanese Goliath’s” pure size and strength have proven simply too insistent for his opponents. Big Zeke racked up another victory tonight when his partner, Vladimir Kozlov, distracted the official to allow Jackson to finish off Goldust with a resounding modified uranage slam.

ECW’s esteemed General Manager, Tiffany, has returned to The Land of the Extreme, attempting to restore order to Tuesday nights. But once again, despite some setbacks, William Regal and his minions were the Superstars standing tall at the end of ECW on Syfy this week.

Tiffany returns to ECW
Seizing the power as interim General Manager of ECW, William Regal quickly declared himself the new No. 1 contender to the ECW Title at the opening of ECW on Syfy. But before he could act upon his plan, he was quickly contested by Zack Ryder and ECW Champion Christian. Captain Charisma pointed out to Regal and Ryder that there are others who have done more to earn a chance at the ECW Title, including Sovereign Bank Arena’s hard-working custodian, Angelo; everyone’s favorite laughing WWE Hall of Famer, Tony Atlas; and the most-deserving, Yoshi Tatsu. The Japanese Superstar has pinned both Regal and Ryder in the last few weeks. But it wasn’t Christian’s choice as to who he’d defend his gold against next, it’s returning General Manager Tiffany’s decision. And while the Diva said she wasn’t ready to declare a new No. 1 contender, she did announce that John Cena could possibly come to ECW, depending on the outcome of his WWE Bragging Rights Iron Man Match against Randy Orton. Tiffany also announced the evening’s matches: Christian vs. Ryder, Tatsu vs. Regal and Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov in tag team action!

Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov def. Tommy Dreamer & Goldust
William Regal’s devious associates, Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov, once again proved why they’re seemingly unstoppable as a tag team. While Tommy Dreamer & Goldust put up a formidable fight, Regal’s dominant duo prevailed when Jackson pinned the ECW Original. Which Superstars will dare step into the ring to challenge Jackson & Kozlov next? Can anyone halt this unstoppable force?

Yoshi Tatsu def. William Regal
After Tiffany returned to de-throne Regal as interim General Manager of ECW, The British Brawler’s night got a bit worse when he was defeated by Yoshi Tatsu, the Superstar who pinned him last week during an ECW Tag Team Match. The Japanese Superstar has been on a winning streak lately, and this week his victory really came at Regal’s expense. The ECW referee didn’t notice that the British Superstar’s foot was under the rope during Tatsu’s pin, costing him the win. While Tatsu celebrated another success, Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov emerged to help Regal argue the call. After two losses to Tatsu, will Regal try to get revenge on him? Who will the exciting, young Tatsu get in the ring with next?

ECW Champion Christian def. Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder got his wish for the main event of ECW on Syfy – a rematch with ECW Champion Christian. But this non-title bout didn’t end favorably for either competitor. A ringside-seated William Regal dispatched his associates, Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov, to attack Captain Charisma during the match, giving the ECW Champion the victory by disqualification.

Then, as the fallen ECW Champion was left in the ring, Ryder, who was angry that Regal’s associates cost him the match, was next to be attacked by them. Despite Regal’s setbacks during the night, he once again stood tall at the end of ECW on Syfy. The WWE Universe is left to wonder, is all of this chaos part of Regal’s plan to dominate The Land of the Extreme? Have Regal, Jackson & Kozlov taken full control of ECW?

Less than five days before he defends his title against William Regal at WWE Breaking Point, ECW Champion Christian teamed with Tommy Dreamer in a losing effort against Regal’s massive minions, Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson, in the main event of ECW on Syfy. How will this brutal loss affect Captain Charisma going into his big title defense on Sunday?

Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson (w/ William Regal) def. ECW Champion Christian & Tommy Dreamer
Earlier in the evening, ECW Champion Christian & Tommy Dreamer spoke with the newest member of the ECW broadcast team, Savannah, and let her know that they were going to destroy Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekiel Jackson in tonight’s main event.

Unfortunately, things did not go as planned for Captain Charisma and the ECW Original. While both Superstars attacked their massive opponents with vigor, they were never truly able to gain an upper hand. In the end, Regal tripped up Dreamer, allowing Jackson to execute his modified uranage slam for the win. Of course, Regal and his ruthless roundtable didn’t stop there. The British Brawler applied a vicious Regal Stretch to the fallen Dreamer and then brutally kicked a defenseless Christian. The last thing the WWE Universe saw as the show faded to black was the bruised and battered ECW Champion sprawled on the arena floor.

Zack Ryder def. local competitor
If you’ve never seen Zack Ryder in action, you might assume the brash and cocky Superstar was more interested in working on his tan than winning matches. Yet, time and time again the Long Island native has proven that he’s all business once the bell rings. Local competitor Rory Fargo was the latest to learn this lesson when he stepped in the ring with the arrogant Superstar. Zack Ryder destroyed his outmatched opponent so quickly and decisively he barely mussed his spiky hair.

Shelton Benjamin & Sheamus def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu
The unique pairings of some ECW’s most talented Superstars made for fast-and-furious tag action on Tuesday night. While the bizarre Goldust and the explosive Yoshi Tatsu worked well together, the duo was bested when Shelton Benjamin tagged himself in and pinned Goldust. Feeling that his partner stole the pin from him, Sheamus confronted Benjamin, resulting in a massive brawl between the two Superstars. It took nearly every official in the WWE locker room to pull these two bulls apart. What can we expect from Sheamus and Shelton on the next edition of ECW on Syfy?

The Hurricane def. Paul Burchill (w/ Katie Lea Burchill)
For weeks, the ruthless Paul Burchill has been infatuated with proving that Gregory Helms and The Hurricane are the same man. The Ripper’s obsession with the emerald knight’s identity may have taken his focus away from tonight’s match as he was unable to stop the superhero’s innovative offense. In the closing moments of the bout, Burchill’s sadistic sister, Katie Lea, attempted to help her brother, but her interference backfired. The Hurricane was able to nail his Eye of the Hurricane maneuver to pick up a victory and keep his identity safe for another night.

Irish Eyes were smiling upon Sheamus Tuesday night, as The Celtic Warrior finally found his pot of Extreme gold with a victory over Goldust on ECW on Syfy.

Sheamus def. Goldust (No Count-Outs, No Disqualifications)
After a double count-out finish to their last match, and an intense confrontation recently on “The Abraham Washington Show,” Sheamus and Goldust were determined to put their intense rivalry to the test once again. In a No Count-Outs, No Disqualifications Match, The Celtic Warrior defeated The Bizarre One. But the win didn’t come easily, as Goldust powerfully fought off numerous attacks by Sheamus – who at one point retreated up the ramp, mid-match – before finally succumbing to The Irish Curse. Is this the end of the road for Sheamus and Goldust? Has The Celtic Warrior finally proven he’s the dominant Superstar?

Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov def. local competitors
With William Regal at ringside, Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov easily defeated two local competitors in ECW tag team action. The British Brawler further punished one of his associates’ opponents with The Regal Stretch, but was interrupted by ECW Champion Christian and Tommy Dreamer, both wielding Singapore Canes. While Jackson and Kozlov put up a strong fight, Christian and Dreamer prevailed, gaining the upper hand against No. 1 contender Regal and his devious associates. On next week’s ECW, Christian & Dreamer will meet Jackson & Kozlov in tag team action. The ECW Champion and the ECW Original have momentum going into this match, but do they have what it takes to defeat Regal’s unstoppable associates?

“The Abraham Washington Show” with Gregory Helms
After an introduction by his new sidekick, WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas, Abraham Washington welcomed this week’s special guest – Gregory Helms. The ECW backstage interviewer has been surrounded by controversy lately. Paul Burchill and his sister, Katie Lea, are convinced Helms is really The Hurricane. But during the talk show, the superhero Superstar appeared on the “Hurri-Cam” to challenge The Ripper to a match on next week’s ECW on Syfy. Will Burchill finally prove his theory that Helms is really The Hurricane? Will the masked Superstar triumph against his foe?

Shelton Benjamin def. Zack Ryder
Unable to compete as tag team partners on last week’s ECW, Shelton Benjamin and Zack Ryder squared off against each other. Regardless of their competitions to determine which is the more entertaining Superstar, The Gold Standard came out on top when it came down to a match. Despite a strong effort by Ryder, Benjamin hit Paydirt on the cocky, Long Island-bred Superstar to seal the Extreme victory. Is that the end of these Superstars’ rivalry? Or will Benjamin and Ryder continue to clash on Tuesday nights?

Why can’t Goldust just win one match? He deserves it.

William Regal earned another chance at the ECW Championship Tuesday night with a victory over Christian. But The British Brawler’s victory came thanks in part to his devious associates, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov.

William Regal def. ECW Champion Christian (Non-title)
William Regal bragged to Captain Charisma and the WWE Universe that it was he who united the two unstoppable physical specimens, Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov. Rather than letting them continue their game of one-upmanship week after week, Regal united the Guyanese Superstar and the Russian Sambo Master with himself, and Englishman, forming a diverse trio he said cannot be stopped. And while two days earlier Christian defeated Regal in a record-shattering eight seconds at SummerSlam to retain his ECW Championship, Tuesday night on ECW on Syfy, Captain Charisma fell to the angry, aggressive British Brawler.

While Regal’s associates watched the match from ringside, Christian slapped Kozlov and returned to the ring, ready to hit Regal with the Killswitch. But Regal countered and tossed Captain Charisma into Kozlov, who was waiting with a vicious headbutt which nearly knocked the ECW Champion to the mat. The British Brawler capitalized on his competitor’s state and hit him with a running Knee Trembler, earning him the win.

With this victory, Regal secures another ECW Championship Match. When will the No. 1 contender have his chance at Christian’s Extreme gold? And how will Jackson and Kozlov factor into Regal’s plot to become ECW Champion?

Tyler Reks & Yoshi Tatsu def. Shelton Benjamin & Zack Ryder
Just who is the more entertaining Superstar – Shelton Benjamin or Zack Ryder? The Gold Standard was showing off his impersonation skills to The Bella Twins when Ryder interrupted. These two enemies weren’t able to put their differences aside for an evening when they met Tyler Reks & Yoshi Tatsu in tag team action.

While Reks hails from the sunny shores of California and Tatsu is from across the Pacific and the Land of the Rising Sun, these athletes who arrived in the Land of the Extreme via ECW’s New Superstar Initiative have the same will to win. After Benjamin & Ryder failed to work well together as a tag team, they lost when Tatsu hit Ryder with a high kick and got the pinfall. After the match, a frustrated Benjamin hit Paydirt on his fallen partner. What’s next for the dynamic duo of Reks & Tatsu? And will Benjamin & Ryder continue on their quest to determine which is more entertaining?

Goldust vs. Sheamus (Double count-out)
The ongoing rivalry between Goldust and Sheamus intensified this week when they met again in Extreme action. But these Superstars’ differences still haven’t been resolved, as their hard-fought contest ended in a double count-out when neither competitor returned to the ring before the referee’s 10-count. How will The Bizarre One and The Celtic Warrior seek revenge on one another next?

You know, it’s really annoying when WWE basically repeats a PPV match. These two just fought at SummerSlam. You may not remember it because it was over before you could pick up your phone, but if WWE is devoting time to this feud on TV then they shouldn’t have buried it at SummerSlam. I just don’t get WWE’s decisions sometimes.

ECW Champion Christian learned the future of his fate on Tuesday night in front of a crowd full of his Peeps. The new No. 1 Contender to Captain Charisma’s ECW Championship is none other than William Regal.

An announcement on “The Abraham Washington Show”
Two-time ECW Champion Christian was the special guest on “The Abraham Washington Show” Tuesday night. After Washington played clips from Christian’s Extreme Rules Title defense against Tommy Dreamer from last week’s ECW on Syfy, Christian assured Washington that while their match was grueling, he and the ECW Original are indeed still friends. Captain Charisma also said he’s ready for every challenge coming his way.

“I am ready to be the face of this brand. I am ready to be the man here in ECW,” Christian claimed.

The bombastic talk show host was ready to deliver that next challenge to the ECW Champion, introducing the No. 1 Contender to the Extreme title, William Regal.

“If you think what you did last week was Extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet, sunshine,” Regal threatened Christian.

The Englishman continued his speech to Christian, claiming his countrymen are known for being barbaric, and if the ECW Champion didn’t believe him, he should just watch what he had planned next for his friend, Tommy Dreamer.

William Regal def. Tommy Dreamer
After Washington announced Regal is the No. 1 Contender to the ECW Championship, The British Brawler faced off against Tommy Dreamer. Still ailing from the brutal Extreme Rules ECW Title Match he competed in the week before, Dreamer fell to the ruthless Regal, who focused on the ECW Original’s wounded left arm. Even after his win, Regal continued his attack with the Regal Stretch on Dreamer, until ECW Champion Christian emerged to chase Regal from the ring and help his friend, Dreamer. But will 2008 King of the Ring winner Regal have what it takes to defeat ECW Champion Christian in the future?

Shelton Benjamin def. Zack Ryder
Last week’s “Abraham Washington Show” exploded into couch-flipping chaos when Zack Ryder and Shelton Benjamin argued about who was the more entertaining Superstar, and Ryder took a cheap shot at Benjamin. This week, Benjamin got retribution against the cocky, brash Long Islander when The Gold Standard hit Paydirt on Ryder for the victory. But is this the last the WWE Universe has seen of the rivalry between these two skilled ECW Superstars?

An attack on Gregory Helms
Before his match against Yoshi Tatsu, Paul Burchill attacked Gregory Helms backstage, accusing him of being the Hurricane.

“Why don’t you run along and put your Underoos back on and let the grown ups speak?” Burchill taunted, and then attacked Helms, knocking him to the ground.

Yoshi Tatsu def. Paul Burchill (Disqualification)
After an introduction by ECW’s newest Divas, Nikki and Brie Bella, Yoshi Tatsu faced off against Paul Burchill. But Burchill’s devious sister, Katie Lea, interfered in the match, causing Tatsu to win by disqualification. After the match, Paul Burchill continued his assault on the Japanese Superstar until Hurricane appeared. The masked Superstar climbed to the top rope and leaped toward a stunned Burchill, as Tatsu looked on in shock. Now that Hurricane has returned to the Land of the Extreme, what will this mysterious Superstar do next?

Vladimir Kozlov def. local competitor
The Moscow Mauler inflicted his brutal form of punishment against another local competitor this week on ECW. After Kozlov’s Iron Curtain descended upon his opponent to end the match, Ezekiel Jackson emerged and also attacked Kozlov’s prey, prompting another staredown between Jackson and Kozlov. Not to be outdone in the game of one-upmanship, the Sambo master picked up the local competitor and hit him again with his finisher, and exited the ring without looking back. When will these two Superstars finally clash in the Land of the Extreme?

Tyler Reks def. local competitor
Tyler Reks, who arrived on ECW as part of the New Superstar Initiative, returned to action in the Land of the Extreme this week. The Laguna Beach, Calif., native has come to Tuesday nights to prove he’s not just a laid back, surfer dude, and after his victory this week over a local competitor with a Springboard Missile Dropkick, he’s proving that.

In less than two weeks, Tommy Dreamer will defend the ECW Title at Night of Champions against Christian. (Match preview) But one Extreme Superstar keeps stepping in the way of both the ECW Original and Captain Charisma, and that’s the unstoppable Vladimir Kozlov.

Vladimir Kozlov def. ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer (Non-title)
He may not be the No. 1 contender to the ECW Championship, but Vladimir Kozlov has proven he’s a force to be reckoned with and isn’t backing down from any Extreme Superstar. The Moscow Mauler defeated ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer on Tuesday’s ECW on Syfy with a vicious Iron Curtain.

After the main event, as Kozlov continued his assault on Dreamer, an angry Christian stormed into the ring to attack Kozlov. Captain Charisma sought retribution for Kozlov’s distraction earlier in the night during his match against Shelton Benjamin. But Christian’s attack accidentally knocked down Dreamer, and Kozlov – still fuming because he lost No. 1 contendership the week before to Christian – turned his focus on Captain Charisma. The Sambo master leveled Christian, leaving the Night of Champions opponents helpless in the ring as Kozlov exited with a menacing smile on his face.

Shelton Benjamin def. Christian
Earlier on ECW on Syfy, Christian was defeated by Shelton Benjamin after Vladimir Kozlov joined the ECW announce team. The Soviet War Machine’s presence was enough to distract the No. 1 contender to allow Benjamin to hit Paydirt and pin Captain Charisma. Kozlov said he accidentally lost last week, and he could beat Christian or Dreamer, anytime, anywhere. Will Kozlov factor into the ECW Championship Match at Night of Champions?

Yoshi Tatsu def. Paul Burchill
ECW newcomer Yoshi Tatsu defeated Paul Burchill in the Land of the Extreme this week, giving the Japanese Superstar his second victory since his arrival via the New Superstar Initiative. An impressive Tatsu overcame adversity and had a little luck on his side during the match. Moments after Tatsu slipped off the top rope, Burchill argued a call with the referee and turned his back, allowing Tatsu to land a high kick on “The Ripper,” knocking him down for the pin and the victory. Will Burchill seek revenge for his loss to the Japanese newcomer?

Zack Ryder def. Goldust
Goldust made his ECW debut Tuesday night against Zack Ryder. One of the most bizarre Superstars in WWE history, Goldust arrived in the Land of the Extreme via Donald Trump’s blockbuster trade. Ryder gave the Golden One a rude welcome, and defeated him with a Zack Attack. Will Goldust seek retribution against the braggadocios Ryder?

Sheamus def. local competitor
ECW’s new Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, returned to the Land of the Extreme this week with another impressive victory over a local competitor, pinning him after a modified Yurinagi into a Backbreaker. Sheamus arrived on ECW as part of the New Superstar Initiative. He’s said he’s come to plant the flag of great Irish tradition and he plans to dominate ECW. Who will face the Celtic Warrior in the weeks to come?

Gregory Helms interviews Ezekiel Jackson
In an exclusive interview on the ECW set, Ezekiel Jackson explained to Gregory Helms that he was in no rush to make his ECW debut because there’s only once chance to make a first impression. Helms asked Jackson if he felt he needed to step out of the shadow of his former associate, The Brian Kendrick – a question that seriously angered the ECW newcomer. “The most important person right now is me, Ezekiel Jackson,” he said. When will the WWE Universe see Jackson in action again on ECW?

Tommy Dreamer proudly grasped his ECW Championship – a title he spent years fighting and hungering for – as he watched two Superstars battle for the spot as No. 1 contender. The ECW Original sat stone-faced as he learned he’ll face his friend and former ECW Champion, Christian, later this month in a city rich in ECW history – Philadelphia.

Christian def. Vladimir Kozlov
Christian earned No. 1 Contendership to the ECW Championship Thursday night with a colossal victory over Vladimir Kozlov. ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer joined the ECW announce team during the match, and said he’d face either Superstar and defend his title with honor at Night of Champions on July 26.

While the dominant, angry Moscow Mauler brutalized Captain Charisma throughout the match, former ECW Champion Christian was fueled by the desire to once again earn a chance at the Extreme Title. Christian landed a devastating Killswitch on the Sambo master for the key victory.

ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer must defend his prized Title at Night of Champions on July 26 against one of the Superstars closest to him – No. 1 contender Christian. Additionally, the match will take place in Philadelphia – the birthplace of ECW. What will happen when Dreamer and Christian – two Superstars motivated by heart, soul and fortitude – clash in the City of Brotherly Love?

“The Abraham Washington Show” with ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer
One of ECW’s newest Superstars – Abraham Washington – returned to the Land of the Extreme this week with a special guest in tow – ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer. When Washington wasn’t bragging about his show’s high ratings, he was picking on the ECW Original.

“You are the biggest Superstar in ECW history,” Washington mocked Dreamer. “Unfortunately I mean that literally, man. I mean you are huge!”

Dreamer refused to give in to Washington’s taunts. Instead, he told the WWE Universe he wanted to face Christian – not Kozlov – at Night of Champions, because pound-for-pound, he’s a great competitor and friend, which prompted the Moscow Mauler to invade the ring and stare down the ECW Champion.

Ezekiel Jackson def. local competitor
Ezekiel Jackson – who arrived in ECW in the WWE Draft earlier this year – made a quick and forceful impact on the Land of the Extreme Thursday night. After telling the WWE Universe there’s only one name that’s important in the history of ECW – and that’s Ezekiel – the massive, 6-foot-4-inch Superstar sent a powerful message by decimating a local competitor with a Modified Yurinagi. How does Jackson plan to dominate the Land of the Extreme?

Shelton Benjamin def. Yoshi Tatsu
Seeking revenge for last week’s quick loss to Yoshi Tatsu, Shelton Benjamin was on a mission to punish his Japanese competitor who arrived in ECW via the New Superstar Initiative. This week, Tatsu proved he’s a worthy opponent to The Gold Standard, pummeling him with kick after kick, and impressing the WWE Universe with a giant Springboard Spinning Heel Kick off the ropes. How long will the twins be able to keep up their tricky ways?
