How Vince McMahon Destroyed Wrestling

I’ve watched the WWF  since the Moon Dog era. I saw Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and Andre the “GianT” @ Hartford Civic Cntr.

I never knew about the other federations or that they were territorial. Then WCW  errupted  and  I faithfully watched WWF  while  cursing “traders” such as “Hulk Hogan”.

WWF took over WCW  then ECW. I was psyched..now the undercards for the  new “WWE”, were superstars   from the competition. I see now, that just like the “WalMarts” of the world, the WWE had consumed   the   small  people and    began a monopoly. This monopoly made him billions while Pro Wrestlers were consumed and disposed of.  In today’s WWE,

Hulk Hogan  wouldn’t even be an undercard, yet our heroes of the past leave  forgotten with no dignity after sacrificing ALL for us- the fans. Pro Wrestlers Should  Organize and   Unionize  in order   to take  the  “GOD COMPLEX” away from Mr. McMahon!! Users email address is spdny@yahoo.com Users name is Sean

Due to the rise of cable in the early 80’s and the general change in technology at the time, if Vince wouldn’t have went National and killed the territories then either Bill Watts with UWF or Jim Crockett would have… It was bound to happen. If it wouldn’t have happened with the rise of cable, it would have definately happened with the rise of the Internet.
