I hear alot of people talking about how Total Nonstop Action(TNA) and World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE) are eventually going to compete on Monday Nights. I have to disagree for a simple reason. Digital Video Recorders(DVR) most people now days has one. A lot of them can record one show while watching another, some can even record up to four shows at once. Most people in the first Monday Night Wars flipped back and fourth now they would just have to record both or record one and watch the other. Digital Video Recorders(DVR) if there not already will eventually be counted as ratings as well so that won’t matter.
Just My Opinion
I can understand that. I think the die hard wrestling fans still watch both shows right now. I’m not completely sure how ratings measured, but I think a sample of the population is tested and they measure only the shows that people are actually watching. I do not think a DVR counts, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know?
