RUMOR: |PW| Booker T may be leaving TNA this November. He is having creative differences with the company and is reportedly unhappy with the direction and his position in the company. If he does decide to leave, his contract ends this November and we may see him back in the WWE by the end of the year.
Booker quit WWE in 2007 because he believed a drug test suspension was unjustified.
WWE would take Booker T back in a 0.2 seconds. But would he be beneficial to WWE? Yea i think he would. WWE does not, like Jericho said, have stars and Booker is definitely a star. I haven’t watched TNA in a long time so I’m not sure what’s going on with him there. But I like Booker and I just wanna see him on TV. And since TNA is on a cold streak, a WWE return might be what he needs.
It could be from the incident in Zurich this past weekend when Scott Steiner tore there flag and the audience threw chairs and trash into the ring.
If he signs back he better be Booker T and not some other b.s. and he should be right in the main event
booker T coming back to wwe could be very good or very bad.
if he comes back as old booker from early wwe or late wcw then i think that’ll be great, but if we get king booker or MEM booker then it’ll suck. i just really hope we don’t get that stupid accent.
he would have a short run, but soon be back where he was before, occasional main guy but more lost in the upper mid card shuffle. Why? B/c he was not created by Vince. See RVD, Jericho, Benoit, Eddie, Goldberg, Steiner, etc…
Besides that, Booker is old. HBK and Taker still main event b/c they have better matches than most the locker room. Booker has always been a guy that needed a good dance partner to do this…and with the age decline I think it better to build new names instead. Morrison, Miz, etc.
I think he would be useful in WWE considering at the moment top stars like Edge and Jeff Hardy are out of the picture.
