RUMOR: |WO via PW| Word has it that Bret Hart is interested in returning to WWE as an on-screen character. Although nothing is confirmed, the recent screw job involving the Undertaker was supposedly a hint towards a future storyline. Hart has repeatedly said wrestling is no longer an option thus the non-wrestling role.
I thought I’d never see the day of Bret Hart stepping foot in a WWE ring. Although this is not confirmed, it’s easy to get excited about this. Maybe we could see Bret Hart give hell to HBK? Or Hart could be the GM of Smackdown and get involved with Batista? The storylines are endless. It’s a shame Goldberg is a P.O.S. and ruined wrestling by injuring Hart. But let’s not focus on Goldberg’s lack of professionalism and decency, let’s focus on Hart coming back to WWE and making every marks fantasy come true.

The fact that they played it out like this all these years makes it even better.
I think Bret and Shawn should kiss and make up, they are two of the all time greats, had some fantastic matches together(though, Bret and Owen had the best matches of either’s career IMHO), and many years and much growing up has happened since then.
The heat between them was real, but they’ve had 12 years to simmer out.
