RUMOR: |PW| Edge has suffered, what looks to be, a serious injury. Early reports say it’s an achilles tendon injury that may require surgery. He suffered the injury in a house show match against Jeff Hardy. The injury was serious enough to stop the match.
If Edge does require surgery, he may be out for several months.

Well Edge was teamed up with Jericho to decrease his work load. And if this injury turns out to be serious then he’ll have a much lighter work load.
I’ll tell you why this is bad. It’s because I have a soft spot for the tag division and do not like where it’s headed in recent years. I was hoping that Jericho/Edge would bring back some prestige to the belts since WWE would actually put in effort because two big stars have the belts. Alas, maybe the tag division is just doomed to begin with.
