Good News, You Get A Watch for Buying PPVs

NEWS: |RTU| WWE is trying to improve PPV buyrates by tweaking their formula. This includes changing the names of PPVs as “The Great American Bash” is now known as “The Bash” and Unforgiven is now known as “Breaking Point”. Peter Clifford of WWE had the following to say in a recent interview:

We have a long history of looking at our PPV events and we have a pretty good idea of where they are going to land…We took into account the economy and cut back our expectations a bit, so we’re pretty much on budget, which is a good thing for us.

We’re constantly looking at our product to find out how to make it better…

Furthermore, WWE will be giving prizes to fans who consistently buy PPVs. For example, fans will get a watch if they buy Nights of Champions and SummerSlam. Clifford did not confirm whether some PPVs will be dropped, but admitted that it’s possible.

WWE is completely missing the point and that is their PPVs suck. They suck hard. If you compare a TNA PPV to WWE PPV then you’ll be wondering why you blew your hard earned money on WWE and not on an escort.
