NEWS: |SS| The longstanding and bitter rivalry between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart is heading towards reconciliation. The two wrestlers broke up in the summer of 1997 and have had nothing but animosity towards each other. Since finding religion, Michaels has admitted his sins while Bret Hart has never forgotten and has been bitching ever since.
In a recent interview, Michaels proposed that Hart induct him into the Hall of Fame and now Bret Hart is entertaining the idea if Michaels apologizes to him. Hart said, “Maybe if he wants to make himself feel better about it he should have the guts to pick up the phone and apologise. Then we’ll see after that.” Hart went on to play the high road saying, “For me I don’t really have much issue with it anymore. If you asked me that up until probably about a year ago I’d have probably said something different. But I’ve cooled off a bit now. I don’t want to carry it around anymore. If he wanted to apologise I would accept it. I’d move on but I wouldn’t forget it.”
