Historic is an Exagerration

RUMOR: |PW| The “historic” move JBL has alluded to in a recent blog is, reportedly, his own retirement. It’s rumored that JBL’s back issues, which forced him to retire a few years ago, are returning and this time he will retire for good. As to the “historic” move, it might be JBL retiring as the Intercontinental Champion.

Love him or hate him, JBL has given a lot to WWE. If you’ve been with this site for a while, then you’ll know how much I praised JBL during his reign as Smackdown world champ. But since retiring and then returning, he hasn’t done much and his accomplishments on Smackdown have not been matched on RAW. It must suck to retire due to an injury, but WWE will not hurt from this. And what has JBL really done since returning to wrestling?

i wonder if he’ll go back to color commentary. he was great on smackdown, i say replace tazz with jbl. it would be great to see jbl and jr together on commentary. i think they’d have good chemisty, being total opposites

He was great on commentary. Maybe he’ll work behind the scenes too like many other wrestlers.
