Cyber Sunday

NEWS: |WWE| WWE presented Cyber Sunday last night. Here are the results of the fan-driven PPV…

HHH beat Jeff Hardy

Undertaker beat Big Show in a Last Man Standing Match

Batista beat Chris Jericho to become the new World Heavyweight Champion with Stone Cold as special guest ref

Rey Mysterio beat Kane in a No Holds Barred Match

Shelton Benjamin beat R-Truth to retain the United States Title

Matt Hardy beat Evan Bourne to retain the ECW Title

Honky Tonk Man beat Santino by DQ

The Miz & Morrison beat beat Cryme Tyme

The fans picked Honky Tonk Man!? This proves that Vince can manipulate the fans to a certain extent.

Why would any fan pay to see the Honky Tonk Man wrestle? I mean does that sound like a good match to anyone? I’m bewildered.

I’m also surprised that Batista won the title. But it makes me happy because the title is changing hands quickly which is a lot better than having 6 or 8 month long title reigns. I thank WWE for that because wrestling needs excitement.

    I can see The Honky Tonky Man (I love that!) winning just because that’s who Marella is trying to catch up to, so people are like well let’s see how good he really is against him, you know.

  • KANE says:

    Especially the kids who probably haven’t a clue who he is except what Santino showed of him.

    @Kane
    Yea I can see that too. Maybe it’s my pro-Goldust side speaking out. I’m now worried that Honky Tonk man will be showing up more and more in WWE.

  • KANE says:

    I personally don’t think you’ll have to worry about that, don’t get me wrong I want to see Goldust too, and I’m sure he’ll be on a Raw soon, if not this one. But last time i remember Honky Tonky Man appearing was at the RR 01, to which Kane smashed his guitar over his head. We may see him again in another 7 years, if that.
