Vince McMahon Facilitates Racism in WWE (allegedly)

RUMOR: |PWI| Even though WWE writer Michael Hayes was suspended for using racial slurs, he is still working but through email from his home.
It is now being reported that Hayes’ suspension is a formality and comes with no real punishment. Many “inside” sources reveal that Hayes has used racial slurs all his career, and in fact, uses them on a daily basis. People who interact with him are used to hearing the comments and have grown accustomed to it. It’s also being reported that Hayes will make these comments to a persons face, during creative meetings with other members and behind their backs. Furthermore, Stephanie McMahon would interview African-American candidates when Hayes was on vacation because she knew that Hayes would make a racially charged comment and thus open up WWE to a lawsuit.
Finally, Hayes’ supposed racism towards African-Americans could be the reason Bobby Lashley quit. Though no official reason has ever come to light, racism was one of the rumors floating around during the release of Lashley earlier this year. Shortly after his release, Vince held a meeting and said Lashley was released because he complained.
Despite these numerous reports and supposed history, Hayes has never been disciplined and this recent suspension is to appease the public.
June 19th, 2008: Hayes Returns to WWE
June 3rd, 2008: Booker T Defends Michael Hayes
May 26th, 2008: Lashley Returns to the Ring
Let me be the first to say that I couldn’t stand Bobby Lashley and I couldn’t stand Vince for pushing him into the main event. But if Lashley quit because of racism then I cannot blame him. When Vince said Lashley complained, did it mean that Lashley was complaining and Hayes’ comments? (and since when is that complaining to begin with)
And it’ll be no surprise about who is to blame and that’s Vince. If Hayes is really a genuine, bonafide racist…and he does make these comments at creative meetings, then Vince is ultimately responsible. How can you employ someone and allow someone to speak like that on a daily basis.
All of my comments are based on the assumption that Hayes is indeed a racist, but someone should look into this more seriously. And if anything, get Hayes fired and hold Vince responsible for allowing this to go on right in front of him.
Remember, Vince answers to the stockholders now…
