WWE One Step Ahead of TNA, Austin Scared of Kevin Nash and Taker Bows to Flair

NEWS: |PWI| During WrestleMania 24, TNA planned to fly a plane over the Citrus Bowl advertising TNA. However WWE officials heard of this and convinced the company not to do it. The company told TNA that the weather forced them to cancel the flight, but other planes were flying over the Citrus Bowl during the WrestleMania. Needless to say, TNA is upset.

Kevin Nash was sitting with the McMahon’s in the box seat during WrestleMania. Steve Austin was supposed to join them, but never came.

Last night’s RAW saw a farewell to Ric Flair as the Hall of Famer is officially retired from active wrestling. After RAW went off the air, The Undertaker came down, shook Flair’s hand and got on one knee in salute of the legend. Then Vince McMahon came down, hugged him and raised his hand. Flair called his family into the ring one last time and celebrated with them before walking to the back. When Flair reached the stage, all the wrestlers bowed to Flair as he walked behind the curtain.

Can you imagine that sight? Seeing a bunch of wrestlers bow to Ric Flair as he walked to the back? And to see Undertaker bow to Flair? Man, I would give both my eyes to have been there. But then I wouldn’t be able to see it. You’re confused? Yea me too.

It’s strange that Austin didn’t show up to the skybox. I’m sure there’s more to the story, but he was probably in the back looking for the next Mrs. Steveweiser.

Undertaker bowed to Ric Flair…I still can’t get over it. I hope a video turns up online. Or maybe WWE will include it on a DVD some day.

We just witnessed wrestling history.
