HHH beat HBK, JBL, Jericho, Jeff Hardy and Umaga in the Elimination Chamber thus earning a WWE Title shot at WrestleMania 24

Big Show returns to WWE and let’s everyone know he’ll become a world champion again

Ric Flair beat Ken Kennedy

Chavo Guerrero beat CM Punk to retain the ECW Title

Undertaker beat Big Daddy V, Fit Finlay, Batista, MVP and The Great Khali in the Elimination Chamber to earn a Heavyweight Title shot at WrestleMania 24

Seems like a pretty standard and predictable PPV, but two Elimination Chambers is worth the price in my opinion.

The best predictable outcome is Taker going to Mania.

Very interesting that WWE chose the method for Orton’s own DQ. I didn’t see the PPV, but having Orton intentionally slap the ref just seems, in my opinion, to make Orton look absolutely weak as a champion. If it were Edge, Edge would get DQ’d in a way that makes him look smart. But with Orton, it makes him look weak. Extremely weak. It’s worse than Orton walking out of the match.

I’m happy that Orton retained the title, but I’m upset at how it happened. I’m not fuming mad, but I’m just perplexed at why WWE would choose that finish. Are they punishing Orton? Are they desperate to keep Cena look strong? Are they intentionally making Orton look weak? Very interesting.

I hate it how they want to make Orton look weak. They want to set it up that the man who took out Cena can’t beat him so this sets up a big feud for WM.

The PPV went down pretty much the way we all expected except John Cena didn’t win back the belt…yet. Instead WWE has Orton look like a weak-ass champion and it gets worse each and every week. Last night on RAW Orton already got beat by Cena so what’s the point in having him be the “main” heel champion going into Wrestlemania?

When HHH and pretty much every other heel champion (JBL, Kurt Angle, etc.) would go into Mania, no matter how weak they looked, they would have still not yet gotten beat by their opponents because WWE was saving that “big moment” for Wrestlemania, but with Orton it’s different. Cena already beat Orton, HHH beat him at No Mercy and is probably gonna beat him again in the next few weeks. I don’t get it, they have him beat HBK, Hardy, and HHH clean and then when Cena/HHH get in a feud with him they make him look weak.

WTF and this whole Big Show/Mayweather thing is retarded and I have so little interest in it, it isn’t even funny. It’s just like Cena/Federline and Killings/Pacman Jones. Dumbass Mayweather doesn’t even know how to pull his punches and you expect him to put on a good match/fake boxing match against Show who already has problems in the ring? Stupid, and not to mention the feud’s build up is non-existent. “OMG Mayweather attacks Show because he pushed him”. That’s it, there’s no Mayweather told Show he would never make it as a boxer or anything interesting at all. It just looks like WWE threw some well known boxer at Big Show for him to have a match at Mania with and who cares? NO ONE!!!

But, I gotta hand it to WWE for actually making the Main Even something “new” instead of the lame Cena/HHH 2.
