RUMOR: |WO| During a backstage meeting, Vince said he fired Lashley because he complained. Even though Lashley is the one who wanted out, Vince was still making a strong point.

Vince is also mad at Johnny Ace who is head of talent relations. Vince is mad at him because anyone who is released seems to bad mouth Ace & WWE afterwards as Ace has the power to hire and fire employees.

Johnny Ace is pretty much hated from what I gather. Everyone who is fired by WWE calls him a piece of sh!t. And the first person who comes to mind is Earl Hebner. Hebner says his firing was completely unjust and still denies any wrongdoing.

I’ll give Vince the benefit of the doubt on this one. He doesn’t fire people for no reason. Even though Ace has the power to, Vince wouldn’t allow him to fire someone high up. I think Vince was probably mad that Lashley was complaining after all Vince did for him last year in terms of the ECW title, the monster push and being in a high-profile match at WrestleMania. I would be pissed to if Lashley was complaining to me after all that. Carlito complained for months and didn’t get fired.
