Sucks for Hardy and Helms because they’re great in the ring. Shelton on ECW is stupid…
As far as Kevin Thorn, I liked both of his previous gimmicks, but I guess he wasn’t getting anywhere with them. I wish he was good on the mic, then he would be going places.
Demoted? Seriously? We get to see more of Benjamin and somehow that’s a demotion? I’ll take the position that ECW is the “C” show and etc, but I don’t think running a Benjamin/CM Punk series is a bad thing.
Hooray for Edge. Did I miss the message where it says he’s going to be out? I really haven’t missed him all that much and think he should be headed back to RAW to feud with Jericho, just because they can.
Oh yeah, Thorn looks like that guy in high school who also wanted to say something but never spoke to you, then years later you find out he was involved with one of the teachers at your school. Either that, or he’s hella gay. Which is cool too. Maybe its the onesie he’s wearing. Still, it’s not as gay as MVP.
Hope Hardy and Helms get better, although Helms might head to TNA since all the old WCW peeps seem to be doing the same now.
-MattDaddy- That’s why I titled it as a demotion because he went from the “A” show to the “C” show. But I think Shelton will shine in ECW as long as it’s about the wrestling and not promos are skits.
An Edge/Jericho feud would be great.
I didn’t see Thorn’s new look, but from what I read he must look like a tool. I loved his vampire gimmick and thought it was great, but I’ll admit it wasn’t working. Maybe more time was needed, but he had it since the very beginning. Also, they didn’t even explain the new look right? Maybe Styles & Tazz did, but I didn’t watch that part.
I wish they would have given more time for Thorn as Mordecai, I looved that gimmick.
I wish Shelton would get Carlito’s uncapitalized opportunities, if he had he would be feuding with at least Hardy for the IC Title.
-KANE- I remember that Thorn was Mordecai…but was he on TV with that gimmick? I don’t remember a thing about him.
-Matt B- Yeah, Mordecai was on Smackdown for a little bit and was suppose to fued with Taker, but I guess people didn’t like his gimmick. He was on Smackdown for a few months after Wrestlemania 20, I think.
-Matt B- Oh he was on TV, it was about something of making us pay for our sins, and he was dressed in all white, hair and beard also white. Very religious.
That gimmick was awesome
-Everyone- Ahhh I see. He was on Smackdown…that’s why I don’t remember him. Sounds like a cool gimmick though.
Hey, Hulk Hogan got divorced!
-DarkYasha- Yeaaaa, they said Hogan didn’t even know until a reporter told him. I’m torn between posting this story or not. On one hand it’s his personal life, on the other hand I cannot stand the guy and would post anything that makes him look bad.
Not sure what I’m going to do. I also hope this isn’t a publicity stunt because that would make me dislike him even more.
-Matt B- I say post it cause it’s pretty big news nonetheless, and I’m not big on hte guy either
Also, anyone know what happened to Hogan Knows best? I actually didn’t mind watching it.
-KANE- I think they were going to cancel it because of Hogan’s son getting a DWI and now that him and his wife are divorced, I doubt they will continue the series. That sucks, because I really liked watching that.
