“I Was Working on My Tan”

NEWS: |PWT via PWM| WWE & Steve Austin are very disappointed with the release of The Condemned. The movie has not done well at all and WWE is blaming Lions Gate Films for its poor success. Other factors involved is the films R Rating which automatically limits the the audience allowed to view the film. Because of its poor performance, WWE is going to hold off on theatre releases and, instead, release future movies straight to DVD.

I always find it funny when WWE tries to blame someone else for their mistakes. They blamed Heyman when December to Dismember was a disaster and they even blame wrestlers for the failure of a storyline when that wrestler is not even ready.

Controlling fan interest in wrestlers & storylines is one thing, but controlling the movie fans is another. Hey WWE, did you ever think that “The Condemned” is a bad movie? The previews were horrible. The movie looked bad and I’m sure it was horrendous in real life. So don’t blame everyone else, just blame yourself because the movie sucked. I feel bad for Austin because I want him to succeed after giving us so much, but he shouldn’t have signed on for a stupid movie.

And by the way, I’m glad WWE failed with this movie. I’m extremely happy. It actually made my day. I don’t care if WWE makes movies, but I don’t want movies to star wrestlers because then WWE will push wrestlers and bury wrestlers based on the latest WWE Film project. You guys have already heard me rant about this before so I’m not going further.

Take responsibility for your own mistakes WWE while I sit on my high horse.

Matt B its true WWE should focus on product improvement rather than wasting time/money on WWE films. Invest this money in wrestling so the fans get hooked to the product again.
