RUMOR: |WO| It’s being reported that Trump’s representative for his WrestleMania match against Vince McMahon will be ECW Champion Bobby Lashley. This decision is expected to be final, but there are still six days away from the next RAW (02.26.07) which will feature Trump officially choosing his rep.
I cannot believe the lengths Vince is going to make Lashley a star. Whatever happened to people working for it and proving that they wanna be in the top spot? When you just push people because you want them to be stars, then you get people like Batista. People who think they deserve everything and can go out and wrestle half-ass and expect a paycheck. Now maybe Batista isn’t there yet, but he does have an ego thing going which is why him and Booker got into it a while back.
This is stupid, it’s just dumb. Lashley is not ready to even carry a match let alone go into WrestleMania to fight Umaga. I’m more mad about how hard Vince is pushing this guy then anything else. And if this turns out to be true, then there won’t be an ECW Championship Match at Mania.
Lashley should not be receiving this monster push. He does not deserve it, he is not ready and it will not legitimize him as a serious wrestler and a serious champion.

Cena? No, that makes no sense, since he’s doing the title match. Besides, Cena versus Umaga is already burned out.
Maybe Lashley will get it, which is probable. Maybe Trump thought it was a roided out Wayne Brady.
Umaga being the choice would be alright only in that it’s a gimmicky match, and it won’t be important. Better than pulling Test out for it.
