UPDATE: |WWE| After further evaluation, it is now known that HHH tore one of his tendons in his right quad. He will undergo surgery tomorrow in Alabama and is expected to be out for “four to six months.”
NEWS: |WWE| HHH suffered a quad injury at New Year’s Revolution. He injured his muscle during his tag match against Rated-RKO. HHH will have further evaluations tomorrow morning so expect more news to come.
I gotta hand it to HHH, he finished the match even with his injury. Just like when he was in the Walls of Jericho with his quad injury before. That man is tough.
Hopefully some good will come out of this, like the official break up of DX. WWE should use this to push Rated-RKO in a new direction and break up DX in the process. DX is not working, it hasn’t been working and it needs to end.
Alot of good will come out of this. Orton, Edge & HBK main eventing. Although I do feel sad for HHH & hope the injuries not to serious, but Steph’s creative help just gets annoying for fans. DX were there for selling merchandise.
RAW will become interesting again as anything can happen now. But I hope HHH does not screw guys creatively as he did to Y2J in 01.
Jericho was meant to turn heel in 2000 & feud with the Rock but instead was pushed to the mid card. Rikishi was given the main event push instead?
When HHH got injured, Y2J got the undisputed titles & then gets the worst runs in recent history.
So HHH does his work worse when he is injured but I think Edge is smart enough to avoid the creative plunges.
