Elsewhere backstage, Coach is on the phone with the McMahons. He hangs up and is forced to leave his room. He cautiously looks out of his room and then walks into the hallway. As he looks up, he sees HHH standing down the hall. Coach turns around and sees HBK on the other side. Coach is cornered and runs through a door. HBK and HHH catch up, but the door closes in their faces. The door reads “Women’s Locker Room.” HBK asks if they’re going in and HHH smiles. HBK covers his eyes and the two go in. They see Mickie, Torrie and Kelly Kelly and they point to the door that Coach went through. HBK follows through the door, but HHH stays behind to talk to the Diva’s. The door opens up again and HBK pulls him through. We go back to Coach and see him hiding in another room. A red light starts flashing and we see an overweight guy dancing in a g-string. The stripper starts getting on him so Coach pushes him to the floor and runs off. Coach slips on a wet floor and looks up to see DX. Coach gets up and backs out of a door. He pleads with DX to let him go. DX takes a step forward so Coach turns around and starts running. But Coach runs into the side of a truck and falls to the ground. DX puts him in a trash can and an arena worker takes him away.
Backstage, DX walks into the Spirit Squad’s room and informs them of the “new” dress code. The Squad might not want to comply so HHH holds up the sledgehammer to show them what might happen if they don’t change. The Spirit Squad agree.
Our next match is Umaga versus Gene Snitsky. Umaga destroys Snitsky with a Samoan Drop, a splash in the corner and the Samoan Spike. Umaga picks up the easy win.
Backstage, Grisham interview Orton about his match with Carlito tonight. Orton is sick of Carlito. He says there’s nothing cool about Carlito. Cool is defeating Carlito at Unforgiven. Cool is being The Legend Killer. Tonight, Carlito will meet three letters R-K-O.

He wrenches Carlito’s shoulder and throws him back in. Carlito thrown into the ring post again. Orton delivers a knee drop to the shoulder and starts posing. Carlito gets up and hits a standing hurricarana. But Orton is back on him with an arm hold. Carlito gets to his feet and punches out of the hold. The cop chases after them so Cryme Tyme practices their speed by running away. The tag team jump a fence to practice their cross training, but run back out after hearing dogs bark.
In the arena, Nicky w/ the Spirit Squad come out in real cheerleader outfits. Everyone is trying to cover up their crotch as Nicky’s opponent Sgt. Slaughter comes out. He starts cleaning house, until Nicky hits a hard Irish whip which sends Slaughter to the outside. The rest of the Squad stomp him and throw him back in. Nicky now has the advantage as he puts him in head lock. Slaughter reverses it into a Cobra Clutch, but Nicky hits a modified knee to the face. Nicky locks in a hold as DX comes on screen. HHH asks Masters if he’s gonna write a book too. Masters is thinking about writing a nutrition book. HHH asks him if it’ll be about losing 50 pounds in 4 weeks. Masters shrugs off the comment and leaves. HBK asks HHH if they really are rip offs of the nWo. HHH says it doesn’t matter because at the end of the day, “he who laughs last, laughs best.” DX then proceeds to laugh.

RAW was a different show this week and it was much better.
Good to see Hardy get the title. They put on a solid match. I really like how the Intercontinental title scene is getting a lot of attention. We’ve gotten some great matches over the past few weeks and tonight, once again, was no exception.
The opening of the show set up DX’s take over. But most of the backstage stuff was too much. The segment with Coach was a little too long. But it did have it funny parts. The shot at Chris Masters is something only DX could do and no one else.
I guess DX will be feuding with Cade & Murdoch. I’m still not sure about it, but if it’s true than I’m already bored of it.
The Spirit Squad thing was dumb. Just plain dumb. When are they going to break these guys up?
If Kane and Umaga have a loser leaves RAW match next week, then why wasn’t Kane on RAW but Umaga was? All they did was make Umaga look good by beating Snitsky and it was another squash match at that. I’m guessing Kane is going to Smackdown next week since WWE spent the time to make Umaga look good this week. But I could be wrong. Personally, I think Kane should go to Smackdown. He’s fought everyone on RAW including himself.
The women’s match was good. And I liked the finish. I wish Victoria would get a bigger role on RAW though. But I say that all the time.
The cage match was pretty boring to me. It was just another Edge/Cena match, but it finally ended their long ass feud. I’m not sure if Edge will feud with DX now, but I would like to see it. It would be better than Cade & Murdoch feud with them. The finish was good. The finish was really good. Pretty creative.
Overall, RAW was good. Much better than last week which wasn’t hard to out do anyway.

Very good RAW tonight. I thought the Cage Match was really good but it’s a shame that Cena is still the champion but who cares JEFF HARDY IS THE IC CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! I guess the whole DX vs nWo thing is true since there’s been alot of talk coming from Eric Bischoff concerning the 2 factions. If I were WWE I’d save it until Wrestlemania 23 for them to have a match. Overall good show and I can’t wait for the Family Reunion next week.
raw bored me to tears tonight, the segment with coach being chased by dx was the first time in a long, looooong time i’ve felt embarrased by watching a wrestling show. the victoria/micky match was good but short, nice how even the announcers act as though the match didn’t matter.
hardy vs. nitro was good, after seeing hardy and nitro go at it time and time before the title change was needed to keep it from becoming just overly repetitive.
something about the idea that the cage match would end the cena/edge feud didn’t seem likely, does look like they want cena for dx, and with bischoff plugging his book is just a build up for the nwo return, nash teasing the idea of getting w/ tna is just the same shit hogan pulled a few years ago to get more money from wwe, he’ll be back and so will hogan and hall.
the show was boring, dx needs to be have more edge and be less childish or they should just shitcan the whole thing like a kane vs. masked kane feud.
Yes…Very happy to see Jeff Hardy get his due. One of my favorites still today! Grate talent, great fan draw, just great all around. I mean look at Rey winning the Heavyweight Championship. Jeff was in the same boat 3 1/2 years ago before he got messed up. I think if they use Jeff right he SHOULD be the WWE CHAMP in the near future. Hes got all the intangiables. The 2 most important. Hes great in the ring, and he connects with the fans and gets a great reaction. They can market him very well if they dont mess it up. Just look at his MERCH sales in TNA. Was still outselling everybody after MONTHS AWAY! WOW! And as far as the DX feud. If its going to get someting going rather than them feuding with Cade/Murdoch or crappy ass people like that. Then Im all for a DX/nWo feud. It has short term potential. At least for thr nWo. Cause we know Hall/Nash/Hogan/Xpac wouldnt be around long and wouldnt be signed to long term deals. Espically Hogan since WM will be his last for the 10th time! And I have noticed the fans liking CENA a bit more. Im a Cena fan and think he would go over great in DX. Just look at the match 3 weeks or so ago when DX helped him and the croch chops they all did, and last week when he got jumped the whole crowd was chanting for DX, and this week they helped him and then stared at him as they walked up the ramp? I think somethings going on.
ray- i hope cena dont join dx, i was quite happy overall with the show tonite. except for the skid mark on one of the spirit squad members, the king couldnt seem to get his mind off it
next week i hope kane loses because then he could go to smackdown and reunite with the undertaker!!!!!
Matt, what so you think about Jeff Hardy becoming the WWE-CHAMP sometime in the future? Hes got all the intangiables to do so. I think if he PROVES himself like he has since hes been back, he should be able to hold the belt before the HARDY BOYZ reunite! Your take?
-Ray- Your right, Hardy has the X factor. The fans love him and he has that connection. I think Hardy becoming the champ is something the fans would like to see, but ultimately will Vince allow it to happen? That’s the big question.
Who do you think will win the Royal Rumble?
Well who they script it to win it is up in the air. I would go with Jeff Hardy or Batista myself.
I would go with Lashley.
i think lashley or batista will, if batista doesnt win the title by then.
But why do you think Batista would win the Rumble 2 times?
I think right now its not ONLY everyones OPINION who will win, but its also everyones GUESS. Because we all know WWE is confused and change storylines and match outcomes constantly. I think the 3 front runners have to be BATISTA & Lashley from SMACKDOWN and JEFF HARDY from RAW. Those 3 guys are being pushed and are in the spotlight.
-shadow- look at austin, hes won it 3 times, and wwe will be pushing batista into the title picture after hes done feuding with, man o man my minds drawing a blank, whos batista involved with rite now? anyways when hes done he’ll be back into the title picture.
-KANE- Yeah that’s probably right. I’d just wish we’d get another Wrestlemania Main Event like HHH vs. HBK vs. Benoit at 20 or Lesnar vs. Angle at 19.
whooo, ur getting ur hopes pretty high, lesnar and angle was an amazing match.
Yeah I know but the entire Wrestlemania 19 was an amazing pay-per-view in the first place.
The past 2 Main Events have been good only because the build up was good (Batista vs. HHH and Cena vs. HHH) We have to get a Main Event that has good build up and is an oustanding match at the same time like Lesnar vs. Angle was.
i didnt think hhh vs cena was that good.
this raw had the sign of the times i just remembered to put it:
Cena cures Insomnia
anyone else notice this one?
Kane I also noticed that Cena cures insomnia lol. Cena is boring full stop as he is a hip hop version of Hulk Hogan. WWE had enough talent which they didnt use and there was no need to make new talent.
