NEWS: |WWE| Mark Henry was injured at Saturday Night’s Main Event (07.15.06). Henry injured his patella in the six man tag match and is expected to be out of action for several months. It’s safe to say that Henry’s match against Batista at The Great American Bash is off.

July 19, 2006: |WWE| Mark Henry’s knee surgery was successfuly and his injuries were more serious than thought. Henry’s patella was split in two at Saturday Night’s Main Event (07.15.06) and he tore tendon entirely off the bone. His recovery time is expected to be 8 months which means he will not return until 2007.

    I really wanted to see BATISTA kick his ass though. Ive been waiting for that match.DAMN! That aside Mark Henry is one of the TOP HEELS on Smackdown and losing anybody that is out there every friday is a little blow to Smackdown. But hopefully we will get to see Batista kick Booker T’s ass now.

    you have to feel for them really. Every time smackdown start to push someone and get anywhere they get injured. Whilst he’s not the best wrestler, personally i think he does make a really good heel. Wonder if they’ll finally bring someone over from raw the show out!

    I think after this TAKER/Khali feud they should make KANE show up on SMACKDOWN w/mask & wig and have him feud with TAKER!

    maybe the punjabi prison match will lead to a tag team match between big show and khali vs masked kane and the undertaker
