NEWS: |News14 Charlotte| Ric Flair appeared in court after being charged with assault and battery on a motorist in late November of last year. However, his case was dismissed because witnesses did not show up.
Strange…very strange. On one hand, I wouldn’t want to testify in court either against Flair since everyone loves him. Testifying against him would make you the most hated person in the state. But then again, charges wouldn’t have been brought against him if there were no witnesses who were willing to testify. Strange…

I could just see Flair saying told you I was innocent judge WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I’m guessing you’re gonna see him back on Raw soon to get revegnge on Deadly Thumb, aka Umaga.
In all honesty a lot of wrestling in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s had mob ties. Rick Flair might have legitimately been in a fed that was tied into that sort of thing way back in the day, but I doubt affected him personally or still holds any presence today.
As for the road rage incident, it sounds like flair and the other motorist both pulled off on the side of the road and the other guy was just as much to blame as Flair. Only the other guy lost the fight and wasn’t famous.
I’m not trouble maker, but I’ve had people try to get me to pull over and fight them before. I just kept on driving. If they try to get into my car or pull me out I have 357 reasons why they’ll back up and wait for the police to get there and solve the problem.

Foley has made national headlines by publishing books and Flair has made national headlines by his alleged road rage incident. “Whoooooooo” Flair’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Flair tells Foley to shut his mouth because Flair vs Foley has been a long time coming. No one cares that Foley wrote a book or that he is Cactus Jack. Flair does hasn’t forgotten the 19 stitches that Foley put in his head. Flair knows the Foley tasted his blood at Vengeance, but not he wants to taste his. Nails, thumbtacks, barbed wire, cages, ladders, Flair wants it all at SummerSlam. Flair challenges Foley to a hardcore match. Foley breaks out of the corner and starts yelling at Flair. But Foley oversteps the line and insults Flair by calling him an absentee father. Flair gets in Foley’s face, but Foley calms him down. But once again he steps over the line by bringing up how Flair told his kids he’d been arrested. Flair punches Foley and Foley rolls out of the ring. Jonathan Coachman comes out and announces that Flair vs Foley is on for SummerSlam. But Foley says that he is current contract doesn’t call for him to wrestle and he will not waste a match on Flair. [...]
