Anyone Remember DX?

NEWS: |PWInsider| It’s being reported that Viewer’s Choice Canada had a description of DX’s return at Vengeance. Once WWE found out, they pulled the description, but plans are still to reunite DX. It appears as though the official reunion of DX will occur on June 25th at Vengeance.

Even though everyone knows DX is coming back, how stupid is WWE? The reunion of DX can be considered one of the biggest storylines of this year and WWE lets it slip through a PPV description? If Vince should fired anyone, it should be the person responsible for this.
Anyway, DX’s return looks to be at Vengeance. Or maybe the night after or something. But even though we know this, we still don’t know the circumstances, who is in, who is out, who they’ll be fighting, is Vince involved, etc etc etc. There are still tons of info we don’t know which makes this wait almost unbearable.
What gets me is that this crap happens time and time again. Whether it’s a spoiler somewhere on a PPV description or a spoiler listed in the card for a house show, WWE is always screwing up stuff like this.
I know they are sending out a lot of different information to a lot of different people, but still…it can’t be that hard.
In this case I don’t think too many people are mad that DX’s return is spoiled. Because we all knew it was coming. But don’t these descriptions get checked?
I’m guessing the people that send it out really don’t know much about WWE storylines and are not fans. Because if they were then they would realize that DX’s return has been in the making for a looong time and is a major storyline of the summer.
I am not looking forward to it if it does happen. DX has been over done. It has been over done just like the NWO. I do not want to see x-pac back either doing the same old gimmick. I loved the DX gimmick in the attitude era I just dont see it being that good now
I don’t think it will be the original DX, but more of a modernised version of it. However i too can’t wait to see how the WWE evolves the storyline to bring them back
-Steven- I get what you’re saying. I’m looking forward to DX coming back, but I really don’t want to see the old DX. Something needs to be different. I don’t wanna see X-Pac again because his matches are pretty the much the same and he doesn’t offer anything new.
I know WWE has been planning this for a long time, but I wonder if they’ve only been planning the return and nothing else. Meaning, do they know what DX is going to do? Or are they just planning their return and will write their storylines after they return?
If the return of DX is supposed to be such a secret, the WWE hasn’t down very well at it. Since Wrestlemania, Triple H and Shawn have been doing the DX crotch chops. Last week’s stare down was conformation…and the friction between Vince and HHH.
I think the WWE’s plan was for us to know DX was coming back, just not when. The best fix would be to bring DX back sooner then Vengeance. Another idea might be to have Triple H defect from DX during its reformation, but work as an inside man against McMahon. It would be great to have a no DQ match between Triple H and Shawn Micheals, with Vince or Shane as guest referee, and turn into an attack on Vince or Shane.

I can’t wait personally, I loved DX, we need a New DX, not just a rehash, but new, fitting members, and I can think of quite a few guys who would fit right in with DX.

as for the return of d-x…i cnt wait!!! however, i do think that the story of d-x is too overused…if they plan to add something new to the d-x storyline then it should live up to being very sccessful. ble$$$
Maybe that’s the whole point; maybe they WANT it to slip out and get around. DX could very well be the biggest thing to happen in WWE in a long time, and if people know about it and tune in because of it, it’ll bring in higher ratings, higher buyrates, and thus more money. Maybe people who would have never ordered Vengeance before would order it now just to see DX. And ya know WWE’s gotta like that.

O.K. bottom line, DX will be back. There’s no doubt that shawn and HHH will lead this new DX into one of the top elite groups of all time into something good. WATCH FUCKING TNA. If you don’t agree with the show than dont watch it. And if you were serious about it than why do you still take time to watch it every week? not because of the bad storylines i’ll tell you that much. Cena will lose the title at One Night Stand because they need a (respectable) title… Batista will come bck win the belt back and go back to raw where HHH will take back what’s his.
Anyone who is pumping themselves up for a big return for DX as a major group think again.
Firstly Shawn and HHH wont be on the same page at their first match, vengeance, they will just team up to fight the McMahons and it will be billed as the DX reunion.
There will be no new members, they will be together for a month or two - sucking this and that and then they will disband, hopefully for good.
DX was never really that good - i enjoyed it at the time - but really it was the poor mans NWO - a pathetic attempt by WWF to compete with the world known storyline of Hogan as a heel and the best clique there was the NWO.
johnson-DX was one of the best things that ever happened to the WWF!!!!! when they return i will be soooo happy, i wont care if X-Pacs in it, as long as theyr back!!!!

Timmy, sorry but DX wasnt that great - they sold a few T-Shirts, but im afraid everyone else was watching Nwo on WCW. The biggest draw of the attitude era was Austin vs McMahon.
DX happened to be around at the same time the greatest storyline ever produced was being run - McMahon screwed bret hart becoming the ultimate heel and it wouldnt have mattered if leprachauns were in place of DX people would have watched next week to see what Vince McMahon was going to do.
They did a couple of interesting things but most of the time they were just a poor attempt by WWF to rival the NWO.
Then DX came back as a heel group and were even worse than before. And now its likely thatll be back to sell a few suck it shirts. Itll all end with one of the pair hitting the other in the head with a sledgehammer and fighting eachother at Summerslam. DX wont see out the year thats for sure.

It looks like Ric Flair is pretty tight with HHH/HBK, especially at Vengeance press conference.

-Undertaker- I haven’t heard any rumors, but I do have a thought. Since DX’s run is supposed to be a short one then what’s the point in adding new members only to disband the group later on? If the run is short then DX might just stay as 2 people. BUT!!! I imagine The Spirit Squad will continue their feud with DX past Vegeance….or at least McMahon will. So I was also thinking that McMahon will eventually play the numbers game against DX to beat them which would mean DX needs to recruit.

How can you not know what the attitude era was? It was just yesterday…………….In short it was the best era ever……
well undertaker, the wwf attitude era was the single greatest era ever!!!!! it was the era where the wwf title would change hands on either raw is war or smackdown and austin was figtin mcmahon, beer trucks were driven out to douse the mcmahons as well as milk trucks, it was pretty much anythin could happen unlike now u can almost predict wats gonna happen, there were even a couple of hell in a cell matches on raw and foley would bring out thumbtacks, announce tables were broken almost every raw or smackdown, it was awesome, until stupid ass greddy vince wanted rights to wwf rather than share it with world wildlife federation, he lost and therefore had to change the name to wwe and the attitude era was finished. it spanned from about late 1997 to mid 2002.
also in the attitude era there were exhibits of kane and undertakers unearthly powers where they could summon lightning bolts, (undertakers were purple and kanes were red) and kane set an announce table on fire, blew up a stage light and then lit a camera man on fire.
also there were a LOT of cage matches, about 3 a month or more, and guys would always jump off the top to do a moonsault or headbutt or watevr.
there were also casket and inferno matches on raw and samckdown as well as buried alive matches

undertaker- there was raw and smackdown (raw then being called raw is war) but there were no rosters like now, where u can only wrestle on one show, the same wrestlers came and wrestled at each showso as an example, kane could wrestle somebody on raw, then wrestle the same person again on smackdown, the only reason they made the rosters is because the wwe has too much talent.
also another thing i hate is that they have to blur out anything wwf and htey even block guys when they say wwf the yjust say ww-, its so stupid because pretty much anythin special that happened was in the wwf attitude era and i can almost predict anythin when it comes to winnin matches, the last time i was wrong was when kane lost and had to unmask, i thought6 he would win, but now, i can predict when there will be title changes and things.
like when rvd was facin cena and edge, i predicted edge, i was rite.

Freak is spot on, may I suggest TNA, WATCH IT JUST AS A SHOW STOP ANALYSING AND YOULL ENJOY IT. It actually has taleted Wrestlers in 1 hour then WWE has in 5+ hours. Just check it out as alot of people are going sleep on it………
tna is just as good as wwe, smackdowns the boring brand and raw is ok

what smackdown needs is sum1 from raw of good quality. it doesnt hav 2b edge, hbk, or hhh but like randy orton, flair, or carlito. i heard if cena loses 2 edge in tlc, he will go 2 smackdown. he could hav a rivalry wit MVP, but i prefer cena continuin wit edge. also, smackdown needs at least 1 very good storyline. for ex. bring back the nwo
