New World Heavyweight Champion

Your new World Heavyweight Champion for the Smackdown brand is Kurt Angle.

What does this mean for the Shawn vs. Angle match on Raw?

Will Kurt officially switch brands?

I could care less if The Coach and Michael Cole held the Titles anymore!

This surprises me more than Edge winning at NYR!

Kurt Angle as World Heavyweight Champion Awesume!
Although I did like Batista it is a shame that he has to go but oh well.

Triple H might win the Royal Rumble and face Angle at Wrestlemania which would be cool I think.

Kurt Angle is a bitchy cry baby who thinks he deserves everything. I wonder what he has uo his ass to make him so angry. Could it be something of Daivaris!

  5. on 11 Jan 2006 at 12:35 amRAY

Smackdown is offically as bad as Raw without Batista! WWE sucks ass all around. GO TNA!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. on 11 Jan 2006 at 12:52 amBreon

-RAY-TNA is alright but not as good as WWE even in the situation that it is in.

Also if you think about it Kurt Angle does make for a good champion on Smackdown.

What happened on RAW does suck this week but if still doesn’t make TNA better.

TNA thinks high flying moves and making fired superstars from WWE into instant main eventers makes them better, news flash! NO IT DOESN’T. It takes more than what TNA has to be a REALLY good wrestling company an although WWE might suck sometimes their is NEVER going to be a time when I say “TNA is BETTER THAN WWE” so don’t try and convince me.PERIOD.

  7. on 11 Jan 2006 at 12:58 amRAY

Well Breon opinions are like ass holes, everybodys got one. It just so happens I wipe my ass with your opinion.

  8. on 11 Jan 2006 at 1:45 amBreon

    -RAY-IT’S NOT OPINION IT’S FACT!

If you notice that TNA brings in all the superstars that have been fired from WWE and instantly makes them into main eventers like Christian (Cage?) and Rhino. All who have or will face Jeff Jerret (who never loses the NWA Title longer then a few weeks) and beat him but then in a few weeks Jerret just wins it back. It’s the same shit! THE SAME SHIT over an over again!

By the way RAY I didn’t really understand the things you’ve been saying because I can’t read BULLSHIT!

I’m not going to say “TNA Sucks” like some dumbass who has nothing better to do then say dumbass things. TNA does have good superstars but they just can’t match up to the charisma and attitude as WWE Superstars.PERIOD.

So we have a lot in common I am a dumbass and you like to suck ass, lets not fight lets be friends.

Ray, do us all a favor and stop posting here at least until you’re old enough to drive a car.

Though I haven’t seen Smackdown yet (I most likely will not), I don’t get why Angle is champ. I think there are a few people that deserve to be champ who are already on Smackdown. It’s like a slap in the face to the whole locker room:

“Only Batista is worthy enough to be champion so now that he’s gone we need to bring a RAW superstar.”

I’m mad that Angle is champion, but it does make the title situation a lot more interesting for Smackdown. I’m confident that WWE knows what they’re doing in the end, but I wish someone from Smackdown was wearing the title.

Congratulations on so clearly demonstrating why your contributions amount to nothing more than childish nonsense.

I don’t think anyone would dispute the fact that the injury to Batista, the death of Eddie, the somewhat unplanned departure of Christian, and injuries to Booker T means that the Smackdown roster was depleted and needed at least one main eventer from Raw to switch shows. I would argue that Smackdown still needs at least one more main event level guy right away.

  16. on 11 Jan 2006 at 2:29 pmRAY

I agree, and it is pointless to argue with someone who is more interested in a pointless boring soap opera than real wrestling. Its not wrestling and thats all there is to it.

ehrmm with a comment like that RAY all i can say is it takes one to know one.. kindly look in the mirror or even just scroll up and kinda read what you’ve just posted..

such childishness can only result from an ingrate with brains of an insect..

regarding your last post i’ll just simple bring it back to you in a more gentle way..

Ray, Get a Life, if you really can’t afford one Take your own it’ll give us some more breathing space…

    Thank you sweetheart

Its not wrestling and thats all there is to it.

Most of what passes for “wrestling” in TNA isn’t wrestling either. Kurt Angle lacing up his boots is more entertaining than 75% of the lukewarm pseudo-lucha that Jarrett’s company presents, not to mention the New Age Outlaws / Dudley Boyz nostalgia hour.

  20. on 11 Jan 2006 at 3:41 pmlillian santana

kurt won becuase he is the greatest and better than anybody on smackdown

  21. on 12 Jan 2006 at 10:16 amNathaniel Davis

If Kurt holds the World title till Mania then maybe there’s a chance to see Benoit get a shot at the big show?

  22. on 12 Jan 2006 at 11:39 amNathaniel Davis

on second thought on the Undertaker 3 disc thingie before it shows the match between Taker/Angle, Angle comes on and talks about how much respect he has for Taker and that he’d love to wrestle him at Wrestlemania… maybe Angle’s just holding it for Taker?

  23. on 12 Jan 2006 at 12:35 pmZeroPhobia

a lot of speculations here.. like all we can do right now is wait.. or hire a mind reader or sumthin and get into the heads of WWE’s creative writer..

  24. on 12 Jan 2006 at 12:43 pmZeroPhobia

Btw as the question in the article states, the answers were (as posted in wwe’s site which is found here)…

    It’s Still On..

So does that mean RAW has two champions again?

  25. on 12 Jan 2006 at 1:07 pmHadley Rille

So does that mean RAW has two champions again?

Last I checked WWE.com has Angle as the Smackdown champ but still lists him under the Raw roster.

Maybe what we will see is one or several SD wrestlers challenging Angle in order to “bring the title back” to Smackdown.

  26. on 13 Jan 2006 at 7:08 amZeroPhobia

I still feel HHH has an obsession with the World Heavyweight Belt.. that’s why they brought it back to Raw…

  27. [...] Even though Kurt Angle is the new Smackdown champion, the originally planned match between HBK and Angle will still occur this Monday. [...]
