NEWS: RAW comes to you live from Texas with Vince McMahon driving a garbage truck to the ring. Last week, McMahon did promise to take out the trash. McMahon gets in the ring and says Bischoff failed again last week so he calls out the current GM of RAW, Eric Bischoff. Bischoff, with a solemn look on his face, passes the garbage truck as he walks to the ring. Bischoff pleads with Vince to keep his job. Vince stops Eric and says that he’s a fair man because tonight will be the “Trial of Eric Bischoff.” Vince will be judge and Bischoff’s defense attorney will be The Coach. Coach’s music hits and he comes out wearing a suit with briefcase in hand. Vince sits in his chair as Coach delivers the opening statement. Coach says, “Your honor, my client is an asshole!” Bischoff is surprised as Coach continues. Coach says Bischoff has been a great GM for four years and has made RAW an exciting show. Vince calls out the prosecutor and out comes Mick Foley! Foley comes out wearing all black with Batman lunchbox in hand. Foley says he will prove that Bischoff was a conniving and deceitful general manager. McMahon thanks both men for their opening statements and says the trial will continue throughout the night.

RAW’s first match is a Fatal Fourway for the Tag Titles. Show & Kane dominate Antonio & Romeo, Viscera & Val and Tomko & Snitsky. Show & Kane deliver double chokeslams, splashes and boots. Kane & Show win the match with a triple chokeslam on Tomko, Antonio and Val.

We cut to the Trial of Eric Bischoff. Foley calls his first witness, Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie takes the bench as she gives an ugly look to Bischoff. Foley asks Stephanie if Bischoff has behaved appropriately as GM. Stephanie says actions speak louder than words as a video clip is played of Bischoff kissing Stephanie at Smackdown’s Halloween Party years ago. Stephanie says it’s been three years and she still cannot get the taste out of her mouth. Coach jumps up and objects, but McMahon screams, “SHUT UP!” McMahon regains his composure and instead says, “Overruled.” Coach and Bischoff both drop their heads.

Back in the arena is singles competition between Mickie James and Victoria. Mickie starts strong by outmanuevuring Victoria, but Victoria comes back with a flip, kicks and an arm hold. Mickie fights out of the hold, but Victoria knocks her to the mat. Mickie hits a hurricarana to gain momentum, hits forearms and a hard spinning kick. Torrie jumps on the apron so Mickie throws her in and stomps her. The ref checks on Torrie which allows Candice Michelle to get involved by throwing Mickie off the top rope. Victoria comes in, grabs Mickie’s tights and gets the rollup for the win.

We got back to the trial and Tajiri is on the stand with a translator. Tajiri says he was a big star in Japan, but not anymore on RAW and it’s Bischoff’s fault. Tajiri hopes Bischoff is fired tonight. Bischoff whispers into Coach’s ear and Coach gets up and says Tajiri needs to get back to the arena because he has a match with HHH. Tajiri is pissed and tries to charge the defense, but Masters intervenes and restores order. Foley calls his next witness, the Mae Young. Moolah and Mae Young approach the stand as we go to commercial.

When we come back, Foley says he can prove that Bischoff has had a strange relationship with Mae Young. A clip is played of Mae kissing Bischoff and giving him the Bronco Buster with her in a thong. After the clip, Mae is making an obscene gesture with her tongue and fingers as Bischoff is on the verge of throwing up. Mae leaves the stand and Coach calls Masters as the next witness. Before Coach can finish asking his first question, McMahon disqualifies him as a witness so Masters reluctantly steps down. Foley opens up his Batman lunchbox and is elated to see a moon pie.

Backstage in the arena, HBK approaches Shelton about their tag match together. HBK says Shelton needs to step up and be more aggressive and show some attitude. Shelton assures HBK that he will do just that.

Next match is Chavo Guerrero vs Lance Cade. The fans are clearly behind Chavo throughout the entire match. Cade goes for a vertical suplex, but Chavo reverses it into a DDT which knocks Cade out. Chavo ascends the ropes and hits the Frog Splash, in honor of Eddie, for the win.

Coach is shown interviewing Daivari. Daivari completely backs Bischoff saying he gave him a chance. Daivari goes further and says Foley was a pathetic GM. Coach is satisfied and looks at Judge McMahon. McMahon pulls his earphones out and apologizes for not listening. He was listening to Ashlee Simpson on his iPod and says she’s awful. McMahon didn’t hear a word Daivari said.

Edge’s newest show, “The Cutting Edge” makes its RAW debut. Edge says his show is different because he’s not scared to ask the difficult questions. Edge focuses on Flair and says Flair will not be on the show because he is scared to face the public due to his legal troubles. Edge continues to put down Flair, so Michael Hayes and Sgt. Slaughter come out and tell him the show is over. Edge & Lita provoke them now and disrespect both men. Hayes gets in the ring and tries to end the show, but Edge will not let up and makes a comment about Terry Gordy. Hayes grabs the mic and says if it wasn’t for people like Sgt. Slaughter, himself and Flair, Edge would not have what he has today. Hayes is giving Flair the benefit of the doubt and asks Edge how many times he’s been in the main event. Hayes pushes it again and says Edge is only here because he’s banging Matt Hardy’s ex-girlfriend! Edge loses it and fight breaks out. Edge beats up Hayes and Slaughter to end the segment.

Tajiri and HHH is the next match. HHH has no problem taking care of Tajiri as he picks up the win with The Pedigree.

Coach calls his next witness Simon Dean. Everyone waits for Simon, but he doesn’t show. McMahon asks Coach where he is. Suddenly, the Boogeyman creeps up from the witness stand and says Bischoff’s time is almost up. He smashes a clock over his head and starts laughing as he disappears. McMahon leans forward to see where the Boogeyman is going – Bischoff and Coach stand up and try to see where he is going – Foley is sitting down in his chair and slowly takes another bite of his moon pie.

Backstage, HHH runs into Big Show as Show gives a warning to HHH.

Back to the trial, Foley calls his next witness Maria. Foley uses Socko to interview her which pleases Maria. Socko asks Maria what she thinks of Bischoff. Maria, eloquently and intelligently, states that Bischoff abused his power last week when Kurt Angle gave her the Olympic Slam. Bischoff and Coach are shocked at what Maria said. More importantly, their shocked by the way she said it. Maria steps down and everybody watches her as she leaves. McMahon says the closing arguments will be held back in the arena.

In the final match of the night, Shelton & HBK take on Kurt Angle w/ Daivari & Carlito. Shelton and Carlito start the match with Shelton in control. He locks up Carlito’s arm, but Carlito keeps breaking out. Instead, Shelton slams Carlito to the mat and punches him over and over again. Carlito rolls away as he surprised by Shelton’s aggressiveness. Angle tags in and takes does Shelton. Shelton gets back to his feet and hits arms drags which prompts Carlito to run in. Carlito gets thrown up high in the air for his trouble and Angle gets a spinning heel kick. Commercial. When we come back, Carlito is stomping on HBK. HBK gets up and hits a spinning neckbreaker and then tags Shelton. Shelton hits a backbreaker and goes for the cover. Carlito kicks out and is sent into the ropes. Shelton is tossed over the ropes but lands on the apron. He kicks Angle and Carlito while he is there, but Daivari interferes which slows Shelton down. Shelton gets back in the ring which allows Carlito to stomp and punch Shelton. Angle comes in. Angle kicks and stomps Shelton into the corner. Overhead belly-to-belly suplex by Angle. Carlito comes back in and stomps Shelton again. Shelton fights to his knees with punches to Carlito’s gut, but Carlito slams him back down to the apron. Angle back in. German suplex by Angle and two failed covers so Angle puts on a waist lock. Shelton gets to his feet, but Angle goes for the Olympic Slam. Shelton reverses it in midair into a big DDT and both men are on the mat now. Shelton gets to his knees first and crawls over to tag in HBK. Angle tags in Carlito now and HBK cleans house. Clotheslines on Carlito, then a scoop slam and a flying elbow drop. HBK tunes up the band as Carlito slowly gets to his feet. Shelton blind tags himself in and HBK is confused. Shelton jumps to the top rope and goes for the flying clothesline. Carlito ducks out of the way and Shelton crashes to the mat. Carlito sees his chance so he rolls up Shelton and gets the win. HBK is still standing in the same place and cannot believe what happened. He walks over and extends his hand to Shelton. Shelton doesn’t take HBK’s hand and just gets up on his own strength. HBK approaches Shelton, but Shelton shoves him away. Shelton hops out of the ring and walks to back with his head down.

Backstage, Judge McMahon and Stephanie step out of their limo. HHH approaches McMahon says Bischoff isn’t that bad of a GM. McMahon think that HHH wants Bischoff to stay only because he can be manipulated. HHH shrugs it off, but does agree with Vince. Vince says he’ll take it into deliberation. Before Vince walks off, he re-introduces HHH and Stephanie. A shy Stephanie says hi and a shy HHH does the same. Both of them look at each other as we go to commercial.

Back in the ring, the closing arguments of the Trial of Eric Bischoff is ready. Foley says “From HLA to Daivari as referee, Eric Bischoff has abused his power for too long.” Foley calls for McMahon to take out the trash. Coach is about to give his closing argument, but Eric stops him and wants to speak for himself. Eric says he has done some horrible things since coming to RAW, but he has created a lot of controversy and a lot of cash. He doesn’t give a damn about the people, but he does care about money. Eric says he has proven time and time again that he knows how to separate the fans from their cash. He even came up with the Elimination Chamber match which sold out show and even calls for an Elimination Chamber match at the next RAW PPV. Eric pleads with Vince again and says together they can make a fortune. McMahon says Eric made some good points – John Cena’s music hits. The crowd goes nuts as Cena comes out with mic in hand. He says Eric is not a great man and nothing like Vince. Eric bleeps the fans during Angle’s entrance, but McMahon says what he wants to say and does what he wants to do. Cena calls for 10,000 surprise witnesses and asks the fans whether Bischoff should stay. The fans say Hell No! Cena asks them if he should be fired. The fans cheer loud. McMahon decides to take it to the fans and asks them whether they want to see an Elimination Chamber match. The fans cheer and McMahon makes the match official. Unfortunately, Vince says Eric will not see it because, “Eric Bischoff…YOU”RE FIRRRRRREEEDDDD!” McMahon lifts up Bischoff and tosses him into the back of garbage truck. The truck’s compactor comes down over Bischoff and drives off as RAW goes off the air.

November 6th, 2006: Bischoff is GM of RAW for a Day

This will go down as one of the most entertaining episodes of RAW ever. It was hilarious. Coach did a great job, McMahon did a great job, hell…everyone did an awesome job. Everything was well scripted and it was entertaining from start to finish. Foley was perfect for this angle and it was great to see him back.

Where is WWE going with HHH & Stephanie? Are they getting back together on-screen?

It’s amazing what one month can do because Lance Cade is almost a jobber now. He doesn’t deserve that after being built up for weeks with Murdoch as the next big tag team.

I’m really glad WWE is having regular women’s matches. Every week their match improve a little and I’m glad WWE is using them to their advantage. But once again, they need to pick up the pace. They’ve been introducing more psychology into the match which is great. Now they need to make it more intense. Victoria is a really good wrestler, she needs to be on her own instead of being paired with Candice & Torrie. But it’s great to see all of them involved in RAW.

I’m glad The Cutting Edge finally made its RAW debut. Too bad Flair wasn’t on it. It was definitely controversial and they used a lot of real material to sell it as a real hard-hitting show. But they also used some cheap shots, but I’m not broken up about it because it only added to the intensity of the segment.

The Boogeyman is so weird. I love it.

RAW was so good tonight. I cannot wait till next week to see who the new GM is. But I’m left wondering how they’ll bring Eric Bischoff back to TV.

I enjoyed Raw, but would have liked a little more wrestling in the show. The only noteworthy match was the main event, and that was nothing really special.

As for Lance Cade, why doesn’t he deserve to be a jobber? He’s been given ample opportunities and hasn’t done much with them. I’d rather see Cade jobbing than someone with real talent like Danny Basham or Stevie Richards.

The HHH/Stephanie thing was just strange. Either acknowledge that they are a couple or reference their long onscreen past or both. To have them act like they are just meeting or seeing each other for the first time in years is bizarre.

Ample opportunities? I disagree. If WWE was really serious about the tag team division on RAW then some other up and coming tag team would be in their place right now. Instead, the division is almost non-existant and Cade & Murdoch were never given their full support.

Hopefully the HHH/Stephanie thing is leading somewhere. But hopefully not to the point where they try to take over RAW again.

Cade & Murdoch were tag champs and as such had as much support as the company could give. Cade has yet to demonstrate any compelling personality or skills in the ring worth mentioning. I see no reason why he shouldn’t be jobbing. For that matter I see no reason why he’s even collecting a WWE paycheck.

RAW was really funny and I enjoyed it alot. Having Foley in on the trial was the best part. The only thing that really surprised me is Eric Bischoff actually getting fired. Who’s the new GM going to be probably Triple H, Stephanie, or Shane? Also Maria was hilarious as well who new she could actually talk smart? The main event was pretty good too because now everyone going to wonder what Shelton’s going to do next.

Good job WWE, RAW was the best and I hope you keep it up!

-Breon- I was surprised that Bischoff got fired too and in a way I’m glad because it’s always fun to be surprised in a wrestling angle. That whole trial was really well done and the creative team did an awesome job. This RAW was definitely not about wrestling, it was all about storyline and it came off well.
