In a joint meeting today with the RAW and SmackDown rosters in the United Kingdom, in Sheffield, Vince McMahon announced that within the next several weeks, a new drug testing policy will be implemented in which performance enhancing drugs, such as steroids, etc., recreational drugs, as well as abuse of prescription drugs will be banned.
In addition to the new drug testing procedure, there will also be an emphasis on cardiovascular examinations.
The specifics of the drug policy will be announced over the next several weeks. More details to follow. Check with WWE.com for the latest information.
.
This announcement comes off the heels of the sudden death of Eddie Guerrero last week and the hospitalization and suspension of Nick “Eugene” Dismore.

well..I guess the boys are about to get a whole lot smaller.
Bad news for Batista
It will be interesting to see, assuming WWE is serious about this policy, who will quietly disappear from the company, who will end up in TNA who otherwise would not have, and who will undergo the most radical changes yet stay with WWE.
Of the WWE main eventers, I’d say the one with the most to worry about is Batista, for obvious reasons. Also, will we see a return of the leaner HHH of the pre-DX days? I imagine a lot of the bottom of the card talent might be working the indies soon as well.
Also, if WWE is serious about this, expect them to try to re-sign Chris Jericho as soon as possible.
Yea, what happens if HHH fails the test? You know he wouldn’t get the same punishment as Tajiri.
Obviously, as he’s more valuable to the company than Tajiri.
In any event, if the new policy is meant to be taken seriously by anyone, HHH - because of his rather apparent use of steroids and / or growth hormone and because he’s a member of the McMahon family - is going to have to regularly test negative.
-Hadley- That’s what I’m saying. HHH is definitely worth more, but for this policy to be real policy, then HHH should get the same punishment as Tajiri. But will they? Hell no and that will/would create many more problems within the company and especially among the wrestlers. The last thing WWE needs is a scandal because it seems like their focus is not on wrestling/storylines/wrestlers anymore.
While you assume HHH would not be punished should he test positive, I am inclined to wait and see what happens. Of course, I think it’s more likely that HHH is using growth hormone rather than steroids anyway - which to the best of my knowledge can not be discovered in a drug test.

In addition to his assault & battery charge on a motorist, Flair’s ex-wife claims that Flair abused her by beating her up (and is also on steroids). Flair’s response is the exact opposite saying his wife is the one who abused him. [...]
