RUMOR: |PWInsider|Chris Benoit’s contract with WWE is up this month and it remains to be seen whether he will sign the new contract. Rumor has it that this new contract is far less than what he’s currently making.
Chris Benoit, if you’re reading this…SCREW WWE and go to TNA. You were a main eventer that ran with the title on RAW and now you’re on Smackdown with nothing. That’s no way to treat you. Trust me, TNA is the way to go.

-Lillian-If Benoit stayed with WWE at the current situation he’s in the best decision is to go to TNA. But on the other hand Benoit might want to stay in WWE for his own reasons or something like that we’ll just going to have to wait and see. You never know what WWE is going to do with their superstars anymore.
-Matt-Benoit leaving WWE would be the best choice. I like TNA and seeing more high profile superstars in the brand is just what they need and Chris Benoit is one of them.
Just like Christian, Benoit should do the same GO TO TNA!
The only reason I want Benoit and Christian to go to TNA is because they have a lot to offer the company.
But that is a good point about Benoit staying in WWE. There was a time when WWE believed in Benoit enough to give him a long title run and a win over HHH at WrestleMania. Maybe that will happen again in the future.
But Christian’s situation is different. Christian had everything..and i mean EVERYTHING it took to be a great WWE champion. He was cocky, he was hilarious, he can handle brutal matches (TLC) and he was great on the mic. WWE really messed up with him. And I bet you WWE will say Christian never stepped up, which is complete crap.
I’m on the fence with this Benoit thing now.

I cannot believe that the WWE is treating a great performer, a hard worker, and a dedicated and passionate wrestler like Chris Benoit. Vince McMahon is really losing it, the so-called man with balls the size of grapefruits. They are obviously shrinking because it seems like Vince is in hot water all the time. JR, Stone Cold, Christian, then who’s next?
Sure Chris Benoit’s run as the World Heavyweight Champion was quite a good one for him. However, it could’ve lasted longer.
So Chris, go to TNA. I am sure the fans won’t mind at all. They will be thrilled to see you there.

Double-H, great enthusiasm!!!! I really hope this isn’t a loyalty test on the part of Vince & WWE. Benoit has proven himself time and time again. He works hard in every one of his matches and delivers every time. How many wrestlers can do that? If Benoit does stay, then I hope it’s for good reason.
