NEWS: |WWE| According to WWE, Christian has quit . WWE wanted Christian to sign a new contract on the spot, but Christian refused. According to WrestlingObserver, Christian is at RAW and will be at Taboo Tuesday to fulfill his obligations.
This is great news for Christian. WWE/Stephanie/Vince have been screwing him over for such a long time now and it’s time Christian goes to a company that appreciates his talent. WWE wanted Christian to sign a new contract, no questions asked. But Christian did not want to do that. This escalated into an argument that ended with Christian kicking Vince straight in the crotch and throwing Stephanie McMahon through a glass window. Of course, this is from fourth party sources and is what allegedly happened.
Wow, I would hope that didn’t really happen, the Crotch/Glass thing, I’ll miss Christian, I hate myself for not seeing a TNA passed the first two, it’s just on so god damn Late you know? I hope he goes there, he’d be appreciated.
Yea TNA is on pretty late, but after it ends I’m always happy that I stayed to watch it.
I don’t blame Christian for quitting. The way the WWE is going right now, good thing Christian did what he apparently did to Vinnie and Stephanie. But again…
Makes me wish I had a Tivo or something, so I could catch it, I hope Christian goes to TNA, he’d be so huge there, he’d really have it goin’ on, I think all this change is due to TNA, now that the superstarts have the option, do they take it? Seems like quite a few say…Yes.
Good point, TNA is slowly becoming a major factor. And you know what? It’s good for the fans. It’ll push the everyone in the industry to work harder and be more creative. Creativity is lacking substantially in WWE right now. But characters like the Boogey Man and Jillian Hall give me hope because it’s something new.
I was watching smackdown friday night 11.04.05 and Christain was still on it, i know it was on WWE.com and other very reliable websites but why is he STILL on there if he’s quit/not staying on. I hate what WWE has done to Christian he deserves a lot better but then again so do many of the guys and girls there, unfortunately it’s all politics.
-Chris- Usually Smackdown is taped on Tuesday nights. This didn’t happen because Taboo Tuesday was on that night. Instead, Smackdown was taped that Sunday before Taboo Tuesday and had Christian on it. Christian leaving WWE was a very recent decision (in his words) and so that match you saw on Friday was his last WWE match.
Cool, cheers for that, i didnt know they’d changed taping to sunday, i would have thought it’d been wednesday or something. i’d read something elsewhere that it was a WWE Haloween gag. Shame to see he’s really gone.
Yea it is a shame. But Christian should have been in the title running by now and WWE didn’t give him the chance. Check the main page, Christian is expected to re-appear this Sunday (Nov 13th).

You could be right, I don’t know the answer to that. I’m not saying Christian didn’t deserve to be champion, he definitely did. But I think Christian realized that WWE didn’t want to give him a chance as champion after all his years in the company. But I could be wrong about that.

I was very upset when Christian was getting ready to sign a new contract and then he said that he quit.When he loses the NWA World Heavyweight championship,if he wants to,I will give him a WWE contract to sign in with Smackdown and he will be the number one contender to any title he wants.Even the GM of Smackdown Theodore R. Long agreed with me.But thats if he wants.

WWE isn’t the same without Christian. Sure, he’s main eventing and the NWA Champion on TNA, but he just doesn’t fit there. I miss him being in the WWE. I miss his lame goofy character. Every time he would cut a promo, I would get excited.
If he would come back, he would just be jobbing to everyone, though. He didn’t need the WWE to get over. He got over all by himself and the fans loved him. People in the WWE have no idea how to treat anyone now.
Christian would’ve been a credible World Heavyheight Champion.
