NEWS & RUMOR: |PWTorch| With its October 1st debut drawing near, TNA is trying to get big names to appear on the show in an effort to draw WWE fans. It’s rumored that TNA has been in contact with Bret Hart, Sting, Nash and Mick Foley. Nash is expected to return to the company soon and Foley has already signed with WWE.
Also, TNA’s set at Universal Studio is being upgraded with new equipment.
I don’t think TNA needs a big former WWE name to become successul. They should focus on what makes them different from WWE and run with it. I completely understand the move to get big names because it makes sense from a business standpoint. But, TNA has the X-Division and they should exploit it on their debut show.
